As a local fundraising event, a musical concert by Adrian Pradhan and Frendz was conducted on 14th October 2017, Saturday at Tewa’s Open Air Theater. The main objective of the event was to raise fund for grant making. We hope to promote our venue for event like this where the community can learn about Tewa's work and support organizations like us for self-reliance, and to promote local fundraising.

The concert started with a welcome speech by Urmila Shrestha, Executive Director Tewa who introduced about Tewa's role in supporting the development of women and the strategy taken by Tewa for supporting grant making.

The program was attended by Board Members, Volunteers, Community people, music lovers and children from Happy Homes who enjoyed the music, food stalls and the beautiful ambience of Tewa. For Tewa, it was an occasion to welcome new people to Tewa's facilities and introduce the main objective of our work and seek opportunities of new endeavor. As to stimulate our volunteers and community people stalls were arranged by them where they provided delicious and hygienic cooked snacks.

The crowd enjoyed the concert to the fullest dancing and singing along with the singer!

Through the event, we were able to raise Rs 50,000.00 net deducting the artist payment and other logistic arrangement costs.
