Grantee Capacity Building Training
Every year Tewa conducts Grantee Capacity Building training for grantee organizations to encourage and boost their efficiency as an organization. Besides, it helps to build partnerships with other networks. It provides confidence and competencies to lead an organization, as well understand issues that are hindering development and empowerment of women and society.
This year the training was conducted on 8-10 September, 2015 which was facilitated by Program Manager, Urmila Shrestha and Grant Making Officer, Anuja Shrestha. The program featured different sessions to strengthen the organization for disaster preparedness and life-improving skills such as trauma resiliency model.The program also shared experience from Shadow Barefoot Volunteer participants – volunteers who have been deployed in 6 districts for rebuilding and recovery phase of our post-earthquake work.
